Southern Africa Disability Roundtable Forum 2022

Hybrid Event (Virtual / Johannesburg)
Organized by the Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD), the Southern Africa Disability Roundtable Forum brings together various actors on triennial intervals to reflect and evaluate the work of SAFOD and the disability movement in the region, share information and experiences, assess progress being achieved by Governments and other duty bearers with regards to implementation of development policies and programs affecting persons with disabilities within the region.
The first forum was held from June 20 to 23, 2017 at Holiday Inn Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa, and the main focus was on the achievements made throughout the past three decades. Download the full 2017 event report here»
The next forum will be held from21 to 23 November 2022 at the same venue, Holiday Inn Boksburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.
This year's forum will be in hybrid mode (both physical and virtual attendance). The forum is hosted under the theme:"Leaving no one Behind: Collaborating for a sustainable disability mainstreaming and inclusive development in Southern Africa."

Note that all participants who register for in-person attendance commit to self-sponsor their travel and accommodation unless they have been directly invited by SAFOD. However, meals and refreshments will be available for free for all in-person participants irrespective of whether they have been invited directly by SAFOD or not.
