OSISA Grantees' workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for ECDE Programmes

The monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) workshop was held from 29 to 31st of July 2019 in the board room of the Open Society Initiative for Southern Africa (OSISA) in Johannesburg, South Africa. The workshop is part of the training and development OSISA’s grantees and partners. The training aimed at giving much needed skills in monitoring evaluation and Learning in ECDE programs to selected participants.
 
The training workshop focused on imparting technical and management skills on monitoring and evaluation within the MEL framework, including skills in problem statement design, change, different project strategies or intervention, logical framework, how to do activity plan, data collection analysis and management. Participants of the workshop were OSISA grantees from Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
 
SAFOD was among one the participants that attended the workshop as the organization, in partnership with the Africa Early Childhood Network (AFECN), is currently developing the SADC Inclusive ECDE Strategy with financial support from OSISA.
